As soon as the music started, everyone turned their heads towards the dance floor. The bridesmaids had huge smiles on their faces as they started their Bollywood dance. Clapping ensued from the guests and the girls finished and smiled for everyone in an adorable pose with bride Anita in the middle. Friday night was filled with tradition. The colors, the decor, the music, the food and even the Medhni artist that drew beautiful designs on the guest’s hands and arms.
Saturday started off at the bride’s parents house. Their entryway was flooded with gorgeous light. Of course I had Anita get ready right there. I find it fitting since this is her childhood home and this entryway was filled with all kinds of family and friends throughout her years growing up, and this day will no different with her parents and bridesmaids helping her into her gorgeous gown. The ceremony at the Isle of Capri was decorated beautifully filled with tons of candlelight colored uplighting. We headed out to a beautiful spot for wedding party portraits and portraits of Anita and Gabe. Then we headed back to the Quad Cities Waterfront Convention Center for their reception and boy was it out of this world. We finished the evening by sneaking them away for sunset portraits along the rive. There couldn’t have been a more beautiful wedding in the Quad Cities!!
